5 tips to take care of your hair extensions
Although every hair extensions have the life cycle which means your set may begin to look a little bit dull and sorry for itself, we can still try our best to look after it and make it stay beautiful and shiny longer. Here are 5 tips for looking after your pre bonded hair extensions:
- Avoid to wash your hair everyday. Because hair extensions are dead hair, it cannot absorb nutrition from your scalp, and will be damage every time you wash it. Try to reduce the frequency of hair wash and use mild shampoo and conditioner.
- Wash hair after get sweaty. Do wash your hair after exercise or sweat as sweat could influence the bonds.
- Dry the bonds. Dry the bonds carefully and completely after every time you wash your hair.
- Don’t heat hair extensions or at least under 160 degree. Remember we told you in last a few posts? Don’t use hair dryer on hot heat to dry hair extensions and style your hair extensions with straighter or curler over 160 degree.
- Use proper hairbrush
Use hairbrush specifically for hair extensions to make sure the bonds won’t be pull out when you comb your hair.
